Had a small shower in an old Lemon Grove house that required tearing out the old floor and replacing with new tile. I found John's name in BBB and called him to come give an estimate. He came in a day or so, gave a price and advised me to check for any leaks. He came back in a week, took up the old floor one day and two days later retiled.
John did what he said he could do. His price was fair, not the lowest, I liked his attitude and ability to do a good job. I would readily recommend him. He claims he is a pro racquet ball player, but I've not been able to confirm that.

WE HAD CERAMIC TILE IN OUR KITCHEN - WHICH CHIPPED EVERY TIME SOMETHING FELL ON IT, AND CARPET IN OUR MASTER BATH.
WE DECIDED TO REPLACE BOTH FLOORS WITH PORCELAIN TILE. WE GOT THREE ESTIMATES, BUT JOHN OF CUSTOM TILE WORK CO WAS THE ONLY PERSON GIVING US AN ESTIMATE WHO WOULD BE DOING THE WORK HIMSELF. THE OTHER TWO SAID THEY HAD "OTHER PEOPLE" WHO WOULD ACTUALLY DO THE WORK. JOHN WAS VERY PROFESSIONAL AND GAVE US A FEELING OF CONFIDENCE. HE DID AN EXCELLENT JOB, EVEN WORKING THROUGH THE WEEKEND SO THAT OUR MASTER BATH WOULD NOT BE OUT OF COMMISSION ANY LONGER THAN NECESSARY. ON A SCALE FROM 1 TO 10, WE GIVE JOHN AND HIS TWO SONS A 10. WE HIGHLY RECOMMEND HIM.
